Giorgos Zirdelis (he/him)

Giorgos Zirdelis is currently serving as the Chief Cryptographer at Modulus Labs since October 2022. Prior to this role, Giorgos worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Cryptography at the University of Maryland (College Park) from January 2021 to August 2022. Giorgos also gained experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Northeastern University from September 2015 to December 2020. Additionally, he worked as a Visiting Researcher at the Weizmann Institute of Science for a brief period during May-July 2018.

Giorgos Zirdelis obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. His educational journey continued at Northeastern University, where he completed a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in the field of Cryptography.
