Derek Bond

Derek Bond is a seasoned project manager and electrical engineer with extensive experience in the MEPT design field. Currently serving as a Project Manager at MODUS Engineering since 2009, Derek leads multiple projects from inception to completion and coordinates meetings with design and construction teams. Previously, Derek worked as an Electrical Engineer, specializing in electrical power systems for a diverse range of projects, including educational institutions, sporting venues, and medical facilities. Derek's early career includes internships at Farris Engineering and KJWW Engineering Consultants, where valuable skills in client interaction and engineering software were developed. Prior military experience as an Aviation Technician in the US Navy contributed to technical expertise and discipline, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University.
