Milorad Hodnik Nikolic

Milorad Hodnik Nikolic has an extensive work experience that spans over several roles and companies. Milorad started their career in 1995 as a Project Manager/Mechanical Designer at Landis+Gyr and later joined Philips as a Consumer Care Manager and Business Excellence and Quality Manager. In 2011, they worked as a Sales and Marketing Director at DONIT TESNIT d.o.o. and then moved on to Hypo Group Alpe Adria, where they held various procurement roles, including Team Lead Group Procurement and Procurement Group Senior Category Manager. From 2016 to 2024, Milorad worked at Flex, serving as an Advanced Sourcing Manager, a Senior Strategic Supply Chain Manager, and eventually as a Director of Business Development. Their most recent role was as Director of Business Development EMEA at ModusLink. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in business development, strategic supply chain management, procurement optimization, and customer satisfaction.

Milorad Hodnik Nikolic has a diverse education history. Milorad started by completing their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, which they attended from 1990 to 1995. Before that, from 1986 to 1990, they studied at the High School of Mechanical Engineering, SSS Ljubljana, where they obtained the title of Technician of Mechanical Engineering. Milorad also attended Primary School Prezihov Voranc, Ljubljana, from 1978 to 1986.

In more recent years, Milorad attended the International Coaching Academy from 2011 to 2012, where they earned certification in Coaching at both the 1st and 2nd levels. In 2012-2013, they further expanded their knowledge at the International Mercury Sales Academy, specializing in Sales, Distribution, and Marketing Operations.

In terms of additional certifications, Milorad has obtained an Anti-Geld-Wäsche-Zertifikat from HGAA in 2013, and completed a Coaching in Business program at Stratos Academy, BMC in 2012. Milorad also holds an ISO Audit certification from SIQ Ljubljana in 2008 and a Judo Trainer certification from the University of Ljubljana in 1990.
