RENJIE CHEN

Renjie Chen has worked as an ASIC Design Engineer at Moffett.AI since March 2020. Prior to that, they were a Graduate Student Researcher at the VLSI Computation Laboratory at the University of California, Davis from April 2017 to March 2020. During their time at the University, Renjie conducted projects and research in ASIC design, specifically focusing on the development of a 4K (UHD) 60fps CABAC Entropy Encoder for H.264. The VLSI Computation Laboratory focuses on exploring and advancing VLSI computation, particularly in digital signal processing, multimedia, and embedded workloads.

Renjie Chen obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. Following that, Renjie pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
