Ksenia Akulova has a diverse work experience in the field of language and localization. Ksenia started their career in 2008 as a Russian/English Translator at BLEND Localization. Ksenia then worked at General Dynamics Information Technology as a Russian/English Translator/Verifier. In 2014, they joined Welocalize as a Russian Language Specialist, and concurrently worked as a Russian Software Tester at RWS Group. In 2019, Ksenia became a Russian/English Linguistic QA Tester at TransPerfect. Ksenia continued their career at MoGi Group as an English Game Localization Specialist in 2020. Ksenia also worked as a Freelance Russian Linguist for Lionbridge and DeepL. In 2021, they briefly served as a Language Lead at Eurotext AG. Additionally, Ksenia worked as a Literary Translator for Magic Dome Books, specializing in science fiction and fantasy genres with a focus on space opera, cyberpunk, and LitRPG.
