Matthew Himelstein has a diverse work experience starting with their role as an Account Supervisor at Venables Bell and Partners in 2007. Matthew later worked as a Strategic & Product Consultant at Himel&Stein Consulting from 2009 to 2012, where they worked with the NFL, valued jersey sponsorship deals for MLS clubs, and helped eBay Motors launch its Android app. In 2011, they co-founded ApptheGame, Inc and served as the CEO and Product Lead until 2014. Matthew then worked as a General Manager and Product Consultant at theScore from 2014 to 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Senior Product Manager at Ticketfly. Himelstein founded Follow-Up.io in 2017, an app that allowed sales reps to communicate with Salesforce, and scaled the business prior to its exit. Matthew also served as an Entrepreneur-In-Residence at Eventbrite from 2019 to 2020 and as a Principal Product Manager, where they played a key role in building the consumer recommendation system and creating the Eventbrite Music product. Matthew co-founded Lakumbra in 2020. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Product at Wonolo and will assume the role of Chief Product Officer at MOGL in 2023.

Matthew Himelstein holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, which they obtained from 2008 to 2009. Prior to that, they earned a BA in Economics and Visual Arts from Columbia University, completing their studies from 1998 to 2002. Additionally, Matthew has obtained certifications in Product Strategy and Growth Modeling from Reforge, with the former obtained in an unspecified year and the latter received in 2019.
