David Anderson has had a successful career in the field of science, beginning in 2008 as a Post Doctoral Researcher at the University of Nottingham. In 2010, they joined GE Healthcare as a Development Scientist, where they optimised and validated the company's stem cell-derived products and technologies. Later that same year, they became a SC4SM Post Doctoral Researcher at the University of Nottingham, investigating the potential use of hPSC-CM as a model for studying drug cardiotoxicity. In 2012, they then moved to the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute as a Marie Curie Research Fellow. In 2016, David began working at Horizon Discovery as a Senior Scientist, applying their expertise in molecular biology and cell culture to derive genetically modified cells and develop and improve gene editing platforms. David also had project management and client interaction capabilities. In 2018, they moved to Empyrean Therapeutics as a Principal Scientist, and in 2020, they joined Mogrify as the Director of Technology Group and a Principal Scientist.
David Anderson attended the University of Nottingham from 2001 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry and Genetics in 2004, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Stem Cell Biology in 2008.
