Vicki Moignard has a wealth of experience in the scientific and research field. Vicki began their career in 2009 as a Research Technician in Human Islet Isolation at the Oxford Consortium for Islet Transplantation (OXCIT), Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences. In 2010, they completed an MRes in Stem Cell Biology at Corpus Christi College, University of Cambridge, with a four year MRC PhD studentship. In 2012, they became a Web Editor at BlueSci. In 2013, they were a Visitor at the RIKEN Center for Developmental Biology. From 2011 to 2016, they were a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Postdoctoral Fellow, Immunology Catalyst at the University of Cambridge. Since 2019, they have been a Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, Explorations, and Senior Scientist, Cell Technologies/Immunology at Mogrify, leading a project in the immune cell space and setting up flow cytometry and RNAseq and single cell RNAseq capabilities at the Mogrify laboratories.
Vicki Moignard began their educational journey at Wheatley Park School, where they earned A levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths, AS Latin, and AS Physics from 1999 to 2006. Vicki then attended the University of York and obtained a BSc (Hons) First Class in Molecular Cell Biology from 2006 to 2009. After that, they moved to the University of Cambridge to pursue a MRes in Stem Cell Biology from 2010 to 2011, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Stem Cell Biology and Haematology from 2011 to 2014.
