Mindline Youth Fellowship Founder at MOH Office for Healthcare Transformation (MOHT)

Tricia Tan has a diverse and extensive work experience in various organizations and roles. Tricia began their career in 2020 as a Research Assistant at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health. In 2022, Tricia co-founded d.well, where they successfully advocated for integrated youth mental healthcare in Singapore, partnering with international stakeholders and proposing best practices to a multi-ministry steering committee. Tricia also served as a Co-Founder for the organization, appointed as a steering committee member by the National Council of Social Services and the Institute of Mental Health.

In 2023, Tricia had several roles, including being a WEF Global Shaper Nominee, an Intern at UNICEF for Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) and Adolescent and Youth Program (ADAP), and a Neurodevelopmental Paediatrics Trainee at the Kennedy Krieger Institute through Johns Hopkins Hospital. Tricia also served as a Workshop Lead for the International Association for Youth Mental Health, where they developed a workshop on youth partnership in mental health policy-making.

In 2022, Tricia worked as an Orygen Global Youth Mental Health Fellow and later became an Orygen Global Youth Mental Health Fellowship Organizer. During their time there, they organized and facilitated the fellowship program. Additionally, Tricia worked as a Youth Mental Health Consultant for Chemistry, where they investigated youth mental health needs in collaboration with Singapore's National Inter-agency Taskforce on Mental Health and Well-being.

Furthermore, Tricia's accomplishments include founding and leading the Mindline Youth Fellowship as a Founder and Lead, as well as developing youth mindline.sg, a national digital mental health solution for youth. Tricia also contributed to creating Healthy Precincts and leading engagements with various government and community stakeholders.

Tricia's work experience also includes leading the Effective Altruism Medicine network as a Lead, where they collaborated with over 100 healthcare professionals to explore how to create a positive impact in the field.

Overall, Tricia Tan has demonstrated a strong commitment to youth mental health and well-being, actively engaging in policy-making, research, and program development in various organizations at both national and international levels.

Tricia Tan attended National Junior College from 2012 to 2017, where they obtained their Singapore-Cambridge GCE A levels. Tricia then pursued their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree in Medicine at the National University of Singapore from 2018 to 2023.
