Project Director at Mohammed Abdulmohsin Al-Kharafi & Sons

Moetaz Shousha has over 30 years of work experience in the construction industry. Moetaz started their career in 1986 as a Supervision Engineer at the Ministry of Defense in Egypt, where they were responsible for inspection, supervision, planning, and cost scheduling of various high-rise residential and commercial building projects. In 1989, they joined Al-Fajji Trading & Contracting Co as a Project Engineer, where they supervised the construction of terminal buildings, facilities, berths, and terminals for public ports.

In 1990, Shousha became a Project Engineer at Baraka Contracting and Trading Est., where they worked on the Greater Cairo Waste Water Project. Moetaz was involved in the supervision and coordination of multiple engineering consultants and sub-consultants for the implementation of the project.

In 1993, they joined Khalifa Daij El-Dabbous & Bros. Co as a Senior Engineer, where they managed and supervised construction works, administered contracts, controlled costs, and ensured quality and safety management for various projects.

In 2004, Shousha took on the role of Assistant Project Director at a joint venture between M/s PI-IPEK Muhendislik Insaat Taahhut Ve Ticaret A.S. and Khalid Ali Al-Kharafi. Moetaz then moved to Mohammed Abdulmohsin Al-Kharafi & Sons in 2005, where they became a Project Director. In this position, they managed the cradle-to-grave aspects of educational, commercial, and medical building projects, including setting project objectives, managing project requirements, and ensuring project completion within the constraints of cost, time, scope, and quality.

Throughout their career, Shousha has demonstrated expertise in project management, construction supervision, cost control, contract administration, and coordination.

Moetaz Shousha completed their high school education from College des Freres, S.J. Baptiste De La Salle, spanning from 1969 to 1981. Moetaz obtained a High School Certificate during this period. Following that, from 1981 to 1986, they pursued a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Civil Engineering from Cairo University, Egypt.
