Jason Avishay

Jason is a Partner and Head of Investments for Mohari. He is responsible for acquisition strategy and deal generation and execution, and helps oversee asset management. Prior to joining Mohari, Jason was an Executive Vice President and Head of Acquisitions for Hackman Capital Partners, a commercial real estate development and operating company based in Culver City, California. His primary focus there was growing their platform into the largest independent owner of studios and media related real estate worldwide. Previously, Jason was a Principal and 14-year veteran of the Real Estate group at MSD Capital, the family office of Michael Dell. In that role, he drove the firm’s investments in hospitality, mixed-use development, and multi-family assets, and led strategic initiatives to invest in new growth markets and asset classes. Prior to MSD Partners, Jason served as a Manager in the Real Estate Finance group at AIG SunAmerica where he was responsible for new originations in the Western United States. Jason received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley's Haas School of Business.
