Matt Lumia

Matthew Lumia has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Matthew is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Mohawk Global, a position they have held since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Roman Catholic Deacon for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse. Before their involvement in the religious sector, Matthew was the Managing Partner at Burns Bros. Contractors from January 2020 to March 2022. Matthew also held the role of Chief Financial Officer at Burns Bros Contractors from July 2018 to December 2019. Previously, Matthew spent over 17 years at JC Jones Advisory Services, where they served as the Managing Partner. Matthew has extensive experience in consulting and management, with a focus on profit improvement, turnaround, and governance, risk & compliance. Matthew has also held roles in operations, finance, and auditing at Pyramid Management Group, Flextronics, Goulds Pumps, and KPMG.

Matthew Lumia attended Siena College from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. In addition, they have obtained certifications as a Certified Public Accountant from the NYSSCPA and as a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) from the Turnaround Management Association (TMA).
