Marty E. Shelton, CCIM, SIOR has had extensive experience in the real estate industry spanning several decades. In their current role as Managing Director at Mohr Partners, Inc. since 2015, they have successfully closed over $100 million in real estate transactions for multi-national companies. Marty E. has also worked closely with clients to determine the best locations and specifications for their offices, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers.
Before joining Mohr Partners, Inc., Marty founded Shelton Realty Consultants in 1981. In this role, they formed partnerships to acquire commercial properties and land tracts for development. Marty E. conducted market studies and worked with a team of professionals to obtain entitlements and building permits for various projects.
From 1997 to 2000, Marty served as a Senior Site Selection Consultant at Lockwood Greene Engineering Group. Marty E. provided site location tours and analysis for Fortune 500 companies, many of which had capital investments exceeding $25 million. Marty E. also prepared an Opinion of Value Report accepted by the World Bank.
Prior to that, Marty worked as a Senior International Business Recruiter for the State of Texas Department of Economic Development, where they convinced international business leaders to invest in Texas. Marty E. was also involved in major potential investments, such as the Boeing Delta IV Rocket Production Facility.
Marty's career also includes roles as a Senior Business Recruiter for the Lower Colorado River Authority, where they attracted domestic and foreign businesses to the area, and as a Managing Partner at Albion Property Development Corporation, where they closed commercial transactions and spearheaded the development of the City Hall Office/Retail Complex in Round Rock, Texas.
Marty E. began their career as a Senior CRE Broker/Negotiator at Knowlton Realty Corporation and as a Senior Financial Accountant at Judd Thomas Beasley and Smith, CPAs.

Marty E. Shelton, CCIM, SIOR holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with Honors in Finance and Real Estate from Texas McCombs School of Business. Additionally, they have a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Texas A&M University-Commerce. In terms of certifications, they obtained the SIOR certification from the SIOR: Society of Industrial and Office Realtors in 2021, the CCIM certification from the CCIM Institute in 2010, and a Texas Real Estate Brokers License from the State of Texas in 1981.
