Amin Aghaee

Amin Aghaee has a diverse work experience in various industries. Amin currently holds the position of Senior Platform Engineer at Mojio, starting in May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at GoldSpot Discoveries Corp. from July 2020 to May 2022. In this role, they were responsible for generating 3D models of geological surveys and developing and deploying web applications for visualization. Amin also worked on feature extraction and clustering of geological data using Deep Learning techniques. Amin also has experience as a Lead Software Engineer at Avestec Technologies Inc. from January 2019 to July 2020. During this time, they developed a full-stack platform for report generation and drone control, and implemented live sensor and image data transmission protocols. Before joining Avestec, Amin pursued their Master of Science degree at The University of British Columbia from September 2016 to January 2019. Amin also worked as a Teaching Assistant during this period.

Amin Aghaee has an extensive education history in the field of computer science and engineering. Amin completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science at The University of British Columbia from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Amin's educational journey began at Allameh Helli school, where they obtained a Diploma in Mathematics and Physics from 2007 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Amin has also pursued additional certifications. Amin obtained the "Sequences, Time Series and Prediction" certification from Coursera in November 2021. Prior to that, in October 2021, they obtained the "CompTIA Security+ ce Certification" from CompTIA. These certifications showcase Amin's commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of computer science.
