Monica Kayo

Monica Kayo has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Monica is currently serving as the Medical Affairs Head at M8 Pharmaceuticals, Inc since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Owner at Triple Check Consulting since June 2018. Monica held the position of Head of Medical Affairs - Neurology Brazil at UCB from September 2016 to December 2017. Before that, Monica worked as the Sr. Medical Information Manager at Baxalta from January 2016 to September 2016. Monica also served as a Consultant Medical Advisor at Neurociencias et al from November 2003 to January 2016. Additionally, they worked as the Medical Affairs Manager at União Química Farmacêutica Nacional from January 2015 to December 2015. Monica has also gained experience as a Psychiatrist and supervised resident physicians at the University of Sao Paulo Medical School - FM USP from 2004 to 2013. Monica worked as the Senior Medical Manager at Abbott Laboratories from May 2007 to May 2008 and as the Global Brand Communication Manager at Novartis from 2002 to 2003.
