Dr. Claire Finn

Dr. Claire Finn has a diverse background in research and engagement, with a particular focus on archaeology. They are currently serving as the Head of Research and Engagement Programmes at MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology) since May 2022. Prior to this role, they held the position of Research and Engagement Facilitator and Programmes Manager at MOLA from May 2021 to June 2022. Dr. Finn also worked as a Reporting and Publications Project Officer at MOLA from January 2017 to May 2021 and as a Post-Excavation Senior Supervisor from November 2014 to December 2016.

In addition to their work at MOLA, Dr. Finn has experience as a Production Assistant at MYTHICA ENTERTAINMENT LIMITED in September 2014.

They began their career as a Postgraduate Research Student at The University of Sheffield from September 2010 to August 2014. Dr. Finn also has research experience in various locations, including Hoorn (& Drechterland, Enkhuizen, Koggenland, Medemblik, Opmeer & Stede Broec), Arnhem, Alkmaar, and Delft, in the year 2011.

Dr. Claire Finn obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Archaeology from The University of Sheffield from 2006 to 2009. Dr. Claire then pursued a Master's Degree in Material Culture Studies from the same university from 2009 to 2010. Dr. Finn continued their education at The University of Sheffield, where they completed their Doctorate in Archaeology in 2014, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree.
