Hansjörg Süß

Lead Software QA Salzburg Scrum Master at Molecular Devices

Hansjörg Süß has a diverse work experience, starting with an apprenticeship as an IT Management Assistant at moveIT Software GmbH in 1998, where they gained experience in network and PC administration, server setups, and software engineering/documentation. Hansjörg then worked as a Working Student IT Administration at BMW in 2004 before becoming a Working Student QA Engineering at Evonik. In 2007, they joined BSH Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances Group as a Working Student Software development in VBA for the QM. From 2008 to 2014, they worked at Sony DADC as a Software QA Engineer/Manager. Currently, they are employed at Molecular Devices as a Lead Software QA in Salzburg and also serves as a Scrum Master.

Hansjörg Süß began their education in 1998 at moveIT Software GmbH, where they pursued a certified apprenticeship in Informatikkaufmann (IHK) / IT Management Assistent. Hansjörg completed this apprenticeship in 2001. After that, from 2001 to 2003, Süß attended Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences and obtained a Diplom-Informatiker (FH) undergraduate degree. From 2003 to 2007, they studied part-time at the University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) pre-degree in Computer Science in Media.

In terms of additional certifications, Süß obtained the Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from Sony in July 2009. Hansjörg also completed web development and web management courses at Hochschule Emden/Leer, receiving these certifications in April 2010. Furthermore, in 1997, Süß participated in a school exchange program at Abingdon and Witney College, which provided him with valuable international exposure.
