Sophia Hsieh

Sophia Hsieh started their work experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Zhongguo Research Institute from August 2011 to September 2015. Sophia then joined Thermo Fisher Scientific in September 2015 as a Technical Application Scientist until April 2018, and subsequently worked as a Field Application Scientist until July 2021. Currently, they are a Senior Field Application Scientist at Molecular Devices, starting from July 2021.

Sophia Hsieh began their education at National Chiao Tung University, where they pursued a dual degree in Biological Science and Technology and Management Science. Sophia attended the university from 2001 to 2006, earning a Bachelor's degree. Following this, they joined The University of Edinburgh in 2006 to pursue a Master's degree in Life Science, which they completed in 2007. Sophia continued their studies at The University of Edinburgh, with a focus on Stem Cell Research, and obtained a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in 2011.
