Zhisong Tong

Zhisong Tong has a strong background in research and bioimaging, with experience in multiple companies and institutions. They currently work as a Research Scientist at Molecular Devices, starting in November 2021. Prior to this, Zhisong held the role of Computational Bioimaging Lead at Nilogen Oncosystems from September 2020 to August 2021. They also worked as a Consultant at Nilogen Oncosystems for a brief period in August 2020.

Before joining Nilogen Oncosystems, Zhisong worked as a Research Scientist at Davinci Bio, Inc. from December 2018 to August 2020. Prior to that, they served as a Research Associate at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies from June 2013 to November 2018. Their career in research began at the University of Miami, where they worked as a Research Assistant from August 2008 to May 2013.

Zhisong Tong completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Physics from the University of Miami, where they studied from 2008 to 2013. They have also obtained several certifications, including "Learning Git and GitHub" from LinkedIn in January 2023, "Sequence Models" from Coursera in April 2022, "Venus Basic Software Training" from Hamilton Company in April 2022, "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter Tuning, Regularization and Optimization" from Coursera in February 2022, "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" from Coursera in February 2022, "Convolutional Neural Networks" from Coursera in January 2022, "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" from Coursera in December 2021, and "Machine Learning" from Coursera in October 2021.
