David Olson

David Olson is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in risk adjustment and healthcare innovation. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Risk Adjustment at Bright Health Group since May 2022, David previously held the position of Vice President of Risk Adjustment at Bright Health and Vice President of UHG Research and Development at UnitedHealth Group. David's career at Optum from 2013 to June 2020 involved leading a large team in innovation and risk adjustment strategies, enhancing Optum's leadership in healthcare innovation through the establishment of an Innovation Center. Earlier roles include Managing Director at FG Solutions, where David co-launched an investment banking firm, and Senior Vice President of Portfolio Management at HSBC, focusing on strategic growth within the credit card issuer Metris Companies.
