Mauricio Funes

Mauricio Funes has worked in various roles throughout their career. Mauricio started as an IT Support Technician/Programmer at Stage from 1993 to 1995. Mauricio then worked as a Network Engineer at BCBG MAX AZRIA GROUP from 1996 to 1998. From 1999 to 2005, they served as a Principal Technical Specialist at The Walt Disney Company. Mauricio then became a Sr Solution Architect at Unisys from 2005 to 2006. Mauricio worked as a Principal Infrastructure Architect at Xerox from 2006 to 2013. Mauricio then joined MUFG Americas as an AVP, Lead Infrastructure Engineer from 2013 to 2015. Currently, they are working as an IT Security Manager & Principal Architect at Molina Healthcare, starting from September 2015.

Mauricio Funes obtained an Associate's degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from Universidad Mariano Gálvez in 1990. Later, in 1999-2000, they attended UCLA Extension to study Database Management. In 2005, Mauricio received a certification as a Microsoft Certified Architect/Ranger from Microsoft Corporation, specializing in Messaging and Collaboration. Mauricio also obtained additional certifications such as ITIL Foundation Level from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2006, a Microsoft Certified Master certification in 2005, a Certified UNIX Administrator certification from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona College of the Extended University in 2002, and a Visual Basic Development certification, also from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona College of the Extended University, in 2001.
