Muthukumar Anbalagan

Muthukumar Anbalagan has a strong background in research and development within the pharmaceutical industry. Their most recent position was as the Head of Research and Development at Molkem, where they started in November 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Medreich Limited as the Manager of Research and Development from April 2022 to November 2023, and as the Deputy Manager of Research and Development from April 2017 to March 2022.

Before joining Medreich Limited, Muthukumar worked at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories as a Scientist (Junior Manager) from October 2015 to March 2017. In this role, they were involved in QbD based research and development activities for the formulation of oral solid dosage forms for the European and US markets.

Muthukumar also gained experience at Syngene International Limited, where they held several positions including Associate Scientist, Senior Research Associate - Formulation, and Research Associate-II from October 2011 to October 2015. At apex laboratories pvt ltd, they worked as a Research Associate-I from October 2009 to September 2011, with responsibilities including formulation development, process evaluation, and trouble shooting in the production of various pharmaceutical products.

Muthukumar Anbalagan attended The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy. Muthukumar then pursued further education at the same university from 2007 to 2009, earning a Master's degree in Pharmacy with a focus on Pharmaceutics. In 2020, Muthukumar Anbalagan obtained a certification as an Alison Certified Specialist in Public Speaking from Alison.
