Alex Maisonneuve

Alex Maisonneuve, CFA, currently serves as the Head of Sales at Molsoft since July 2025. Prior to this role, Alex held various positions at Shopify, including Senior Account Executive for both Large Accounts and Mid-Market in North America from March 2022 to July 2025. Alex's career also includes experience at BMO Capital Markets from May 2016 to March 2022, where roles ranged from Analyst to Associate in Equity Derivatives. Earlier professional experience includes founding and managing the technology portfolio at Telfer Capital Fund and working as a Credit Risk Management Analyst during an extended internship at Export Development Canada. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa, along with a high school education in Natural Sciences from College Bourget.
