Bernardo Fonseca

Bernardo Fonseca is a Sustainability Engineer at Molycop since July 2023, specializing in greenhouse gas emissions data management and the implementation of sustainability initiatives for steel production by 2030. Previously, Bernardo held various roles at the University of Newcastle, including Research Assistant and Academic Tutor, focusing on material properties and supporting international students. Bernardo's earlier experience includes positions at Limestone Networks, Inc., where client relations and sales were the focus, and multiple trainee roles in mining and mineral engineering across Brazil. Bernardo holds a Master of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Newcastle and two Bachelor of Engineering degrees, one in Geological/Geophysical Engineering from the University of Sydney and another in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais.
