Once upon a time…

135 years ago, the Thiérache jam factory was founded in Boué, France. It was bought by Edouard Materne in 1922, and this was just the beginning of the MATERNE brand's long, happy story.

Around the same time, in 1921, the MONT-BLANC brand was born, at the foot of Europe's highest mountain peak. Over time, their delicious dairy desserts and snacks conquered the hearts of gourmet foodies. 

MOM, in a few numbers

Today, the MOM group represents: 
-	7 brands: Materne, Pom'Potes, GoGo squeeZ, Confipote, Mont-Blanc, Récré O'lé et Gloria
-	1 billion fruit pouches sold each year
-	1,400 employees

Even more impressive is our incredible growth adventure. In five years, we've doubled our sales and our staff. Between 2010 and 2015: 
  	 + 47% of tons sold
 	 40% of our business became international
 	 4 new factories
 	 +98% increase in staff

And we're not stopping there!

Thanks to the arrival of the Bel Group, our ambition is to continue growing, and to double in size by 2021, so that we can reach our goal of becoming the leader in fruit and shelf-stable dairy healthy snacking in our targeted geographies.
