Sergey Shenderov has extensive experience in the fields of investment banking and venture capital. Sergey began their career in 1997 as a Summer Intern in Equity Research at Credit Suisse. Sergey then joined Salomon Smith Barney in 1999 as Equity Research Analyst for Russia & CIS. In 2000, they moved to Citi as an Investment Banking Analyst for Russia & CIS. In 2006, they became Managing Director and Head of Metals & Mining Investment Banking at Renaissance Capital. In 2012, they Co-Founded Magnetic Sand Resources and served as Managing Director. In 2014, they became an Early Investor in Firefly Space Systems, a private US aerospace firm developing revolutionary reusable low payload rocket technology. In 2015, they Co-Founded Mom.life, a WeChat and digital economy platform for moms powered by native currency. Finally, in 2018, they became a Member of the Silicon Valley Blockchain Society (SVBS).

Sergey Shenderov completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Banking and Financial Economics from the University of North Dakota between 1994 and 1998.
