Alison Burstein

Alison Burstein currently serves as The Sue and Eugene Mercy Jr. Assistant Curator for The Gilbert and Lila Silverman Fluxus Collection at The Museum of Modern Art since June 2025. In addition, Alison Burstein has been an Independent Curator since February 2013, organizing exhibitions and programs in collaboration with various institutions, including Southern Exposure and MoMA. Previous roles include Curator at The Kitchen, Curator of Media and Engagement, Part-time Faculty at Parsons School of Design, Program Director at Recess, and Associate Educator at MoMA. Alison Burstein has a Master of Arts in Art History from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University.
