Gabriel M. is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in investment management and economic policy. Currently serving as Managing Director of Investments (Endowment) at The Museum of Modern Art since November 2018, Gabriel previously held the position of Interim Co-Head of Private Equity at the Bureau of Asset Management within the NYC Comptroller's Office, where responsibilities included co-heading a $21 billion private equity program and serving on the investment committee for a $195 billion pension system. Other notable roles include Senior Vice President at Golden Arc, Associate at Lazard in M&A, and Analyst at Lehman Brothers specializing in real estate private equity. Gabriel began a career with the National Economic Council at The White House, providing briefings and research. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in International Finance from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from New York University.
