Angelica Pomar is an experienced arts professional currently serving as an Assistant Educator in the Artist Programs & Public Engagement department at The Museum of Modern Art since October 2023. Prior to this role, Angelica worked as the Education and Public Programs Coordinator at the Bronx Museum of the Arts from January 2022 to October 2023, and as an Education Programs Assistant at the Museum of Arts and Design from August 2018 to January 2022. Angelica also held positions as a Curatorial Fellow at the Kupferberg Holocaust Center, an Administrative Intern at SOHO20 Gallery, a Student Oral Historian at the New-York Historical Society, and participated in the Youth Insight program at the Whitney Museum of American Art. Educationally, Angelica is pursuing a Master of Arts in Art History at Hunter College while holding a Bachelor of Science in Art History and Museum Professions from the Fashion Institute of Technology, a Bachelor's degree in Museology/Museum Studies from Istituto Lorenzo de' Medici, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Gallery and Museum Studies from Queensborough Community College of CUNY.
