Gaurav Pal

Gaurav Pal has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Gaurav currently serves as the VP of R&D at Community Brands since April 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Senior Director of R&D at Community Brands from August 2019 to April 2023. Before their time at Community Brands, Gaurav worked as the Senior Director of Software Engineering at Rocket Software, where they were responsible for setting up multiple product teams and implementing agile development processes. Gaurav also served as the Director of Engineering for Remedyforce at BMC Software, leading a team of 65 engineers and driving customer satisfaction improvements. Gaurav has also held various roles at BMC Software, including Senior Manager of Remedyforce and Senior Manager of Solutions Lab. Gaurav began their career as a Lead Field Engineer and Senior Product Developer at BMC Software. Furthermore, Gaurav worked as a Software Engineer at Bodha from 2000 to 2001.

Gaurav Pal holds an MBA from Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business, obtained between 2007 and 2010. Gaurav also has an MS in Computer Science and Engineering from the University at Buffalo, obtained from 1997 to 2000. In addition, they hold a BE in Chemical Plant Engineering from the University of Mumbai, obtained from 1991 to 1995. Gaurav Pal has also obtained certification as a Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2023.
