Jim Thurlow

Jim Thurlow has an extensive work experience in the medical and diagnostic product development field. Jim started their career in 2009 as the Head of Technical Operations at Siemens Medical Solutions Diagnostics. In 2012, they became the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer / Interim CE at Microvisk. In 2014, they founded Firestar Science and Technology, where they served as the Managing Director. In 2017, they were the Consulting COO at Momentum Bioscience Ltd, and the Chief Executive Officer at Cotton Mouton Diagnostics Limited. In 2018, they were a Board Observer at PULMONIR LIMITED. In 2019, they became a Supervisory Investment Committee member at Deepbridge Capital. In 2021, they were a Non Executive Director at Momentum Bioscience Ltd, and in 2022 they became a Non Executive Director at PhenUtest Diagnostics. Jim currently serves as the Non Executive Chairman at Metix (UK).

Jim Thurlow graduated from Bangor University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. Jim attended Bangor University from 1988 to 1991.
