Michael Avis

Michael Avis is an accomplished marketing executive with extensive experience in leading marketing strategies and sales initiatives across major technology companies. Notably, Michael served as Senior Director of EMEA Marketing at Oracle Corporation from March 2010 to July 2021, focusing on Account Based Marketing (ABM) to enhance collaboration among sales, marketing, and solution specialists. Prior to this, Michael held various senior roles at Sun Microsystems, including Senior Director of Field Marketing and UK Marketing Director, where responsibilities encompassed worldwide marketing strategy, campaign development, and corporate communications. Michael also demonstrated expertise in product marketing and sales management with previous positions that included UK Product Sales Director and High-end Systems Sales Manager.
