Mieke van Schoor

Mieke van Schoor is an experienced Actuarial Specialist at Momentum Metropolitan Holdings Limited, having held positions in both the Actuarial Values Testing Team and the Product Management Team since February 2021. Mieke serves as the product owner for multiple Life Insurance Products, including the Preservation Plan and Pure Savings. Key projects include expense rationalisation, bulk fund fixes for system migration data clean-up, client redress exercises, and the development of calculation tools on VBA. Mieke's actuarial background is supported by a BCom Honours degree and a Bachelor of Commerce in Actuarial Science from Stellenbosch University, complemented by early experience in creating life cover estimation spreadsheets during a prior student role at Momentum Metropolitan.
