Mick Darcy

Mick Darcy has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Mick started their career in 1997 as a Facilities Officer at Modus Media International, where they were involved in plant and office planning, draughting and design, and supervision of facilities and cleaning staff. Mick then worked at Noonan Services Group as a Technical Manager and later as a Business Development Executive, responsible for delivering sales growth across facility management services.

In 2010, Darcy took on the role of Interim Managing Director at Noonan Services Group (UK) Ltd, managing the UK operations, sales, HR, and finance teams. Mick also secured £1.5 million of new business during this time.

Darcy subsequently held the position of Strategic Business Development Manager at G4S Secure Solutions (Irl) Limited from 2015 to 2017. Mick then joined Momentum Support Ltd as a Security Development Manager, overseeing the daily operational function of the Security Division and leading sales and contract management.

From 2019 to 2021, Darcy served as the General Manager at phs Group, responsible for the leadership and financial performance of the company's Republic of Ireland operation, as well as various business functions.

Most recently, Darcy worked as a Project Manager at Team Hygiene Ltd from 2021 to 2022 and is currently the Head of Procurement and Supply Chain at ABM Ireland since 2022.

Mick Darcy attended St Mary's Academy Carlow from 1987 to 1992. Mick then pursued a course in Computer Aided Draughting & Design at the Institute of Technology, Carlow from 1993 to 1994. No degree was mentioned for either institution.
