Martijn Loerakker has extensive experience in brand and marketing management, product development, and innovation. Martijn currently holds the role of Marketing Director, Product & Channel at Momentum Textiles & Wallcovering. Prior to this, they served as Sr. Brand and Marketing Manager at Arden Studio, where they led brand and marketing strategies, including product positioning and digital marketing. Before that, they worked at TruSens Wellness as a Senior Brand and Marketing Manager, responsible for global brand marketing and product positioning. Martijn'searlier experience includes working as a Global Marketing Manager at ACCO Brands, where they developed category growth strategies and launched new product categories. Martijn also served as a Global Principal Industrial Designer and Global Senior Industrial Designer at ACCO Brands, leading creative strategies and managing key projects. Martijn began their career as an Industrial Designer at WhiteBoard Product Solutions.
Martijn Loerakker has an extensive education history. In 1987, they attended St. Bonifatiuscollege Utrecht, where they obtained their VWO degree with a focus on Dutch, English, German, French, Arts, Math, and Physics. Following this, they attended Olney Central College from 1993 to 1995 and earned an Associate of Arts degree. Martijn then pursued a BA degree in Industrial Design with a minor in Philosophy at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 1995 to 1998. In 2016, Martijn obtained a mini-MBA certificate through the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago, specializing in Executive Education.
