Matthias Yeo

Matthias Yeo has held various roles in the technology and financial industries. Matthias is currently a Venture Partner at func vclab. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Executive Officer of CyberXCenter. Matthias was also a Technology Advisor at Society Pass Inc. and the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder at Momentum Z. Matthias has a strong background in financial technologies and was the CEO of Fund Technologies, a subsidiary of Fund Asia Ventures. Matthias also served as a Board Advisor at Fund Singapore, a MAS regulated financial institution. Before their work in the financial sector, they held leadership positions at Blue Coat Systems (acquired by Symantec), McAfee, and EDS (an HP company). Matthias has extensive experience in security strategy, data protection, and technical leadership.

Matthias Yeo began their education in 1995 at Temasek Polytechnic, where they pursued a Diploma in IT with a focus on Information Technology. Matthias completed this program in 1998.

In 2001, Matthias entered Monash University and obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computing in 2003.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Matthias went on to pursue a Masters degree in Management in Computing at the National University of Singapore from 2008 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Matthias also obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. In 2007, they acquired the CISA (Certified Information Security Auditor) certification from ISACA. The following year, they obtained the CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification from (ISC)2 and the PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). In the same year, Matthias also obtained the CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) certification from ISACA.
