Pete Swabey

Pete Swabey has a diverse work experience in the field of editorial management and thought leadership. Pete is currently serving as the Editorial Director for Thought Leadership at Momentum ITSMA since May 2023. Previously, Pete worked as the Editorial Director at Grist from August 2022 to May 2023. Before that, they held the role of Editor In Chief at Tech Monitor from October 2020 to August 2022. Pete also worked at The Economist Intelligence Unit (The EIU) as the EMEA Editorial Director for Thought Leadership from December 2016 to July 2020. Prior to that, they held various roles at The Economist Intelligence Unit, including Senior Editor and Global Editorial Lead for Technology, and Senior Editor. Pete also worked as the Editor, Information Age, and Head of Technology Research at Vitesse Media from 2005 to 2013. Pete started their career as a Web Content Manager at Legal Week in December 2002.

Pete Swabey earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Experimental Psychology from UCL in 2002. In 2004, they pursued a postgraduate diploma in General Journalism from the London School of Journalism.
