Jason Garkey

Jason Garkey, MBA, has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Jason served as the Chief Security Officer for Momentus, where they implemented a National Security Agreement and collaborated with various government departments and consulting firms. Prior to that, they were the Vice President and Chief Security Officer, Americas at Radisson Hotel Group Americas, where they also implemented a National Security Agreement and worked closely with board members and government agencies.

Garkey's background includes serving in the Office of the Secretary of Defense as a Senior Military Assistant and Senior Military Evaluator. Jason also has a longstanding career with the United States Army, where they held positions such as Commissioned Officer, Chief Of Staff - Army Talent Management Task Force, and Brigade Commander. In addition, they served as an International Counterterrorism Fellow at the College of International Security Affairs, National Defense University.

Garkey's early career includes roles as an Executive Officer and Battalion Commander in the US Army, as well as a position as a Professor of Military Science at the University of Richmond.

Additionally, they have a War College Diploma in International Security and Combating Terrorism from the College of International Security Affairs, obtained during the same period. In 2005 and 2006, they earned a Master of Arts degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College. Jason also completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from Troy University between 2002 and 2004. Jason Garkey has an additional certification as a Ranger from the US Army, obtained in 1994.
