Moms on the Run
Makara Fairman, MSW, currently serves as the Director of Proposals at Vida Health and has held the position of Proposal Manager, Senior since February 2022. In addition, Makara is a Community Platform Coordinator at VCPM, Inc., focusing on content creation and engagement for the Game Changers program. As a Run Coach for Moms on the Run since April 2023, Makara has enhanced community wellness initiatives. Prior experience includes roles such as Proposal Manager at Talkspace and a variety of positions at Cigna, culminating as the EAP and Behavioral Health Proposal Strategist. Additional experience encompasses case management and development roles at organizations such as the Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance and Vital Bridges Center. Makara holds a Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Social Work and Bachelor of Arts in Women and Gender Studies from Luther College.

We bring Fitness, Fun & Friendship to busy moms! Our cardiovascular interval programs offer structure and accountability along with strength training, stretching and education to provide a comprehensive training program for women to improve their running speed and endurance, or learn to run their first 5k.
