Tong Zhi

Tong Zhi is a proficient software engineer with diverse experience in both engineering and trading roles. Currently employed at Monad Labs since February 2023, Tong previously worked as a quantitative trader at IMC Trading, specializing in options market making. Experience includes a core engineering internship at Hudson River Trading, where work focused on options market data and compile time optimization, as well as a software engineering internship at Zillow, where significant improvements were made to website functionality. Tong also served as an undergraduate teaching assistant at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering, designing algorithmic problems and developing automated grading solutions. Tong Zhi holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied and Computational Mathematics from the University of Southern California.
