Carmel O’hare

Carmel O'Hare serves as the Director of Services and Head of Information Systems & Innovation at Monaghan County Council, a position held since January 2017, following a distinguished tenure from January 1997 to June 2016 as Information Systems Project Leader. In previous roles, Carmel O'Hare managed various IT functions including SQL Database Administration, Microsoft Exchange Administration, and business systems administration with specific expertise in Agresso Financial Management System and SharePoint. Carmel O'Hare holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Dublin City University and a National Diploma in Computing from Dundalk Institute of Technology, complemented by a certification as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer from Microsoft Academy.
