Luis Osorio

Luis Osorio is a Science & Monitoring Associate at Monarch Joint Venture since January 2023, where responsibilities include conducting pollinator and habitat surveys, supporting GIS and database needs, and developing resources for partners and the public. Previously, Luis served as a Remote Sensing Field Technician Specialist at Conservation Corps Minnesota & Iowa from January to December 2023, focusing on drone operations, project coordination, and data management. Other relevant experience includes an internship with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and serving as an IDEC Fellow with Conservation Corps Minnesota & Iowa. Luis holds a degree in Environmental Science from the University of St. Thomas and a Part 107 Remote Pilot certification from Pilot Institute.
