Rita Morris is an experienced professional in the fields of research, education, and outreach, currently serving as Outreach Coordinator at Monarch Joint Venture since January 2020, and previously held roles as Development Associate and Education and Communications Assistant. Prior experience includes working as a Research Technician at the University of Minnesota's native bee lab, a Research Fellow at the Midwest Center of Excellence for Vector Borne Disease, and a Laboratory Technician at the University of Wisconsin-Madison within Dr. Lyric Bartholomay's mosquito research lab. Rita's background also features an internship as a Mammal Intern at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota.
