Robert Hookstra has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Robert began their career at Highway Technologies in 1999, where they worked in various financial roles such as District Accounting Manager, Regional Job Cost Manager, Assistant Controller, and finally as Corporate Controller until May 2013. In May 2013, they were appointed as the Interim President of Highway Technologies and Interim CEO of HTS Acquisitions to oversee the bankruptcy case for Highway Technologies Inc. After that, they joined Dixie Electric, LLC in 2014 as a Consultant and later became the Corporate Project Manager until June 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Expanse Energy Solutions as the VP Finance, where they were responsible for financial and accounting responsibilities for a twenty-site electrical services provider. In 2018, they started their own consulting company, RWH Consulting, LLC, and worked as an Independent Consultant until July 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Finance at Monarch Landscape Companies since July 2019.
