Jamera McQueen

Jamera McQueen has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Jamera is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Care2Love LLC and Care2LoveInAction Non profit since June 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Assistant VP of Operations for (CCBHC) at Monarch starting from January 2019. Jamera also has experience as a TASC Care Manager at INSIGHT HUMAN SERVICES, INC. from June 2017 to February 2022. At Humana, they worked as a Clinical Coordinator and Case Manager from March 2016 to February 2022. Jamera was an Assistant Clinical Case Manager at CoCare Management, Inc. from August 2016 to February 2022. Additionally, they served as an Administrator at Forsyth County Board of Commissioners from May 2015 to February 2022 and had an Administrator in Training role at Kerner Ridge Assisted Living from January 2015 to February 2022. Jamera also worked as a Medication Technician (MedTech) at Kerner Ridge Assisted Living from January 2015 to February 2022. Other work experiences include being a Masters Student at Walden University from July 2011 to February 2022, a Transportation Specialist at Winston-Salem Forsyth County School System from August 1999 to February 2022, and a CNA at Right at Home of the CSRA from June 2013 to June 2014.

Jamera McQueen has a diverse education history in the field of healthcare administration and management. Jamera obtained their Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Accounting Systems Technology from Brookstone College of Business Albert Pick Road in 2002. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in Gerontology-Human Service from Winston-Salem State University, which they completed in 2011.

In 2015, Jamera earned a Master's Degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Walden University. Additionally, they obtained an Assisted Living Directors Certificate in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Central Piedmont Community College in the same year.

Jamera continued their education at Walden University, where they completed a Master of Science (MS) degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University from 2020 to 2022. During this time, they specialized in Clinical Mental Health with an emphasis on addiction.

In terms of certifications, Jamera obtained a Medication Technician certification in November 2014. Jamera also holds a Certified Nursing Assistant certification from the State of North Carolina, which they obtained in November 1999.
