Pooja Rao

Pooja Rao is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Preanalytical Services Manager at Monash Health since December 2022. Prior to this role, Pooja held various managerial and technical positions at Auckland DHB, including Scientist Unit Manager and Technical Head for multiple laboratory services. Additional experience includes a role as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in Microbiology at Counties Manukau Health and acting Technical Head of Phlebotomy at Auckland DHB. Pooja's educational background includes a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science from Auckland University of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science. Pooja has also completed leadership and management programs through Women & Leadership Australia and other institutions.
