Monash Motorsport
Hugo Markovski is an Autonomous Software Engineer at Monash Motorsport since March 2022, actively contributing to the development of the next iteration of the driverless system while working within the Vehicle Integration team. Previously, Hugo held the title of Head of Autonomous Software, leading a team of 17 engineers in delivering autonomous capabilities for a formula student race car, and has also served as an Autonomous Software Engineer focused on robotics. In addition to industry experience, Hugo currently works as a Teaching Assistant at Monash University, supporting students in engineering subjects including C programming, digital electronics, and Python. Prior experience includes roles as a Software Engineer at Optiver and as a Real Time Learning Educator, providing engineering education to primary school students. Hugo is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at Monash University from 2021 to 2025.
Monash Motorsport
Monash Motorsport is a student-run, not-for-profit racing team based out of Monash University in Clayton, Victoria. The program is designed to develop practical knowledge and provide invaluable experience for students across all faculties through the design, manufacture and racing of an open-wheeled car in the world’s largest student engineering design competition, Formula SAE. Monash Motorsport currently designs, manufactures, tests and races in the Driverless and Electric categories.
