Aaron Uesugi

Aaron Uesugi is a seasoned professional in food safety, currently serving as the Global Food Safety Principal Scientist at Mondelēz International since July 2021. Prior experience includes a role as Quality & Food Safety Manager for Planters at Hormel Foods for a month in mid-2021, and over seven years at The Kraft Heinz Company, where Uesugi held positions including Food Safety Manager/Principal Scientist and Associate Principal Scientist, leading food safety initiatives across multiple product lines and facilities. Early career experiences include roles at Kraft Foods Group, Cornell University, and various research and internship positions at prestigious organizations, along with a strong educational foundation with a Ph.D. and M.S. in Food Science from Cornell University and the University of California, Davis.
