Leah Harris

Leah (Schmid) Harris is a seasoned professional in sustainability and ESG reporting, currently serving as Senior Manager of ESG Reporting at Mondelēz International since September 2023. Concurrently, Leah is a member of the Illinois Green Alliance since April 2023. Previous experience includes a role as Senior Manager of Sustainability & ESG at BDO USA, where Leah led significant sustainable business initiatives and developed the firm's inaugural sustainability report. Prior to this, Leah held managerial positions at Grainger overseeing various ESG strategies and sustainability reporting, and at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, focusing on social impact initiatives. Leah began their career as an account executive at Edelman, leading sustainability and corporate social responsibility projects for Fortune 100 clients. Educational credentials include dual B.A. degrees in Communication Studies and Psychology from the University of Michigan.
