Kushal Banerjee

Kushal Banerjee has a diverse work experience that spans across multiple roles and industries. In 2015, they worked as a Project Student at Calcutta University, Kolkata, where they focused on Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship (QSAR) of Pyrethroids with reference to acute Toxicity in different Animal Species. This involved mining molecular and biological metadata and generating 3D structures of molecules.

In 2017, Kushal joined CSIR- NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF OCEANOGRAPHY (NIO) as a UGC-NET Senior Research Fellow in Environmental Science. Their responsibilities included designing protocols, validating experiments for isolation and synthesis of Marine Natural Products (MNPs), and analyzing data using spectroscopic and chromatographic techniques. Kushal successfully isolated and analyzed over 100 synthetic and natural compounds.

Currently, Kushal is an Associate LCA Methodology Analyst at Mondra, starting in 2021. It is unclear when this role will end. Additionally, from December 2021 to January 2023, they worked as a Researcher at Mondra.

Kushal Banerjee pursued a Master's in Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of Calcutta from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2013, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Chemistry (Honours), Physics, and Mathematics at WEST BENGAL STATE UNIVERSITY.

In addition to their academic education, Kushal Banerjee obtained several certifications. They obtained a certification in Machine Learning in R and Python from Udemy in September 2021, an MS Excel Certification from Udemy in July 2021, and a certification as a Certified Operator of GC-MSD, Agilent-GC 7820A, and MSD 5977E from the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL), ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 standardization lab in April 2018.
